Reddit data use and privacy

Aiwah Reach is a private internal platform operated by Aiwah Labs. Its Helpful Participation workflow helps one authenticated human operator find public Reddit discussions where they may be able to contribute useful, firsthand perspective.

This workflow is not lead scraping or automated outreach. A Reddit post or author is never added to Aiwah's sales pipeline merely because the post appears in the review queue.

For approved public posts, Reach may process the post URL, subreddit, title, visible post text, post time and basic state needed to exclude locked, removed, deleted, adult or pinned posts. It also reads the relevant community rules and keeps timestamps, internal review status, a structured human decision reason and an optional operator-written calibration note.

Reach may record a coarse community-safety outcome—no issue observed, moderator contact or contribution removed—and an optional anonymised safety note. Reach does not intentionally collect Reddit usernames, moderator identities, private messages, email addresses or other off-platform contact details. Outcome and safety notes must not contain identities, copied comments or contact details.

Reach deterministically ranks recent public posts against operator-configured topics and may place no more than 10 candidates in the operator's daily review queue. It retrieves community rules and checks retained posts for deletion or removal.

Selected context may be processed through the AI model provider configured by Aiwah to generate an internal research brief: contribution fit, facts to verify, talking points, useful nuance and risks to avoid. The brief is not a Reddit comment and is not intended to be pasted as one.

Reddit contribution records are automatically deleted after no more than 30 days. While approved access is active, Reach also checks the retained window and removes records whose source post was deleted, removed or is no longer available.

If Reddit access ends, Aiwah will stop automated access and delete retained Reddit content as required by Reddit's terms, an applicable agreement or a valid removal request. Access inside Reach is restricted to authenticated Aiwah operators.

Aiwah uses infrastructure and an AI model provider configured within Reach to host the private workflow and prepare research briefs. These providers process only the data needed to provide those functions for Aiwah; the workflow does not permit Reddit data to be used for model training.

Approved automated access uses OAuth, a descriptive user agent, narrow read-only endpoints and rate-aware polling. Reach fails closed unless Aiwah has recorded Reddit's written commercial approval and the approved credentials.

Automated Reddit discovery is disabled while Aiwah seeks Reddit's written commercial data-access approval. The controls and this notice are being made available before activation. Manual review does not authorize automated access or public activity.
